Newsletter
We send out a newsletter of a commercial nature up to 12 times per year. If you do not wish to receive the newsletter, you can always change this setting in 'My account'. We may also send you non-commercial messages if necessary; this may be information pertaining to your order or other issues. We will keep these to a minimum.
Packaging
Framed artworks are packed in cardboard boxes provided with an About Art sticker. By surrounding the artwork with air cushion foil, we aim to avoid any damage to your order. Unframed works on paper are packed in a tube and sent by post. If, despite these precautions, there is a problem with your order during shipping, please do not hesitate to contact us. Not satisfied or defect found
About Art strives to ensure that the artworks you buy from us are completely to your liking. As such, About Art offers a 14-day cooling-off period after delivery. However, the shipping costs of the return shipment (standard 25 euros) and if you are a business customer also the original shipping costs, at your own expense. In the event of damage or an incorrectly supplied piece, please contact us using the contact form.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about our products or our service, you can contact us via the contact form. You will receive a substantive response from us within 14 days after receipt of your complaint.
Damaged
Did you receive your artwork damaged? We ask you to notify us as soon as possible of any defect, preferably within 48 hours of receipt. We will examine the defects reported and if we agree with your assessment, we will replace the work free of charge if you so wish. About Art advises you to examine the work of art yourself upon receipt, in the presence of the carrier, and to report defects in a timely fashion.
Guarantees
For all items you buy from us, the legal warranty applies. Legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it.About Art guarantees to the customer that, insofar as necessary, all intellectual property rights of the creator(s) of the product in question have been transferred or provided under irrevocable exclusive licence, that such rights have been renounced in favour of About Art or amended such that About Art can transfer or provide to the customer the unfettered right of ownership or at least the unfettered right to management and disposal of the products. About Art indemnifies the customer against any claim by the artists or third parties in this regard. About Art guarantees to the customer that it has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure the electronic transfer of data, that the web environment is secure and that electronic payments can be made securely.
