Biography

François Avril was born in Paris in 1961 and graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art (ENSAAMA) in Paris. Avril started his career as an illustrator for magazines and advertising agencies He later created a limited run of comic books and a number of children’s books. His works on paper and canvas have been exhibited in Paris, Geneva, Amsterdam, Brussels, Dinard, Strasbourg and Tokyo.
