Biography

German artist, Annegret Kellner, currently living in Amsterdam is best known for her photographic and sculptural works, dealing with the subtle representation of tortured houseplants. Her provocative methods offer experiences of conflict as well as comfort. Galleries as Galerie Fons Welters in Amsterdam and independent art spaces as Kunstverein Diepenheim, Kunsthuis SYB, Nieuwe Vide presented her work. The Akzo Nobel Art Foundation, AMC Collection, Rijnstate Art Collection and the collection of Amerborgh International acquired multiple works of Annegret Kellner. Her works were also reviewed by Metropolis M, Trendbeheer, We Like Art, Artlyst, Mister Motley, VTwonen Mag and the Cultural Channel of the Mondriaan Fund. During her education at Academie Minerva in Groningen, she also studied several months at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden and Hunter College in New York. In 2005, Annegret obtained her Master of Fine Art with honours from the Frank Mohr Institute. 2013 Annegret completed a MC Cultural Management at the Antwerp Management School. Besides her artistic practise, she joined the KRC Collection for almost a decade and now works as art advisor for businesses, such as Hyatt Regency Hotels, Spaces Offices. .
